Dr Young has been my dentist since I was in high school and I’m well into my 30s now. When I aged out of my parents’ insurance, there was a period of time when my dental care was seriously lacking. I went back to Dr Young and have no regrets. Highly recommend this dental office.

Best dentist in Oakland! Our family has been seeing Dr. Young for over 25 years. His family-run practice offers convenient parking, a calm and welcoming environment, and exceptional care. Dr. Young takes a practical, no-pressure approach and only recommends treatment when truly necessary. His hygienists are always friendly and kind, and because he is the sole dentist in the practice, he really gets to know his patients and their history. The kid-friendly atmosphere, complete with toys for children, makes visits easy for the whole family. We can’t recommend Dr. Young highly enough!

Dr.Young has been my dentist for myself and my family for over 25 years. He has always done an excellent job of caring for our teeth, which is important to me especially because I have such a steadfast sweet tooth. I recently had a filling replaced from prior to Dr.Young being my dentist, from start to finish I had no pain or discomfort at all. Although replacing a filling might feel stressful, Dr. Young makes it an easy experience. My family and I are always given the best care and attention to maintaining the healthiest teeth we can hope for-given our sweet tooth cravings. We highly recommend him, his staff, facility and the excellent care and soothing atmosphere Dr. Young and his office provide. We are grateful for his consistent excellent care through these 25 years and will remain a happy smiling patient for the future.

I have been going to Dr. Young for my general dentistry for about 20 years now, so I've experienced a few different procedures in that time, including a crown, an extraction, night guard fitting and the Invisalign orthodontic treatment. I first came to him because the dentist I went to one time before him (while I was looking for a new dentist) didn't do the best job on a procedure, which left me with some discomfort. He was willing to take a look at it, and it was easily fixed. I found him to be honest, calm and skilled. I'm pretty finicky about who I decide to stick with for my healthcare services, and will shop around until I find the right fit. Dr. Young and his staff of hygienists, assistants and clerks are all very friendly, professional and capable folks, which makes going to the dentist so much more pleasant and reassuring. The office is located in a convenient location with parking. It is also very clean and pleasantly designed. Perhaps most importantly, Dr. Young has never tried to sell me on any unnecessary product or procedure. He's also a pretty interesting person, so if having a chat with your dentist is appealing, there's that too.

Who gives their dentist five stares? In the area of corporate healthcare, the personal care at Dr. Young‘s practice is exceptional. Dr. Young himself is confident, straightforward, extremely humane and above all has a very delicate touch. When I always feel that I’ve had good advice and recommendations without upsell, hype, or whitewashing. I don’t love going to the dentist but I think this dentist practice is exceptional
